Using DX vs. Widgets
resource difference

I use 3 different widgets on my desktop, and I was wondering what is the memory and CPU difference between running several widgets and DX. DX has some objects (like email checkers) that don't work as widgets right now and i was wondering if switching would slow my system too much because I only have a 1.7 Ghz P4 with 256MB memory. Any advice would be appreciated.

Open Task Manager, and monitor the memory usage for the wdigets, then close them and run them as objects. Check the memory usage for DX. I'm betting you'll use less running them as objects.
